Studio 44 opened in January 2017 with one aim – to provide fun classes for babies, toddlers, children, and adults, catering for all abilities and levels of fitness.
We have a range of classes for everyone, We offer a fun and friendly environment, we love what we do, we love our studios and we hope you will too.
All our team share the same mission and that is:
“To provide a FUN and FRIENDLY environment for all the family to engage in FITNESS, make FRIENDS and encourage people from all ages and abilities to participate in healthy actives in a relaxed atmosphere.”
My role is the general day to day running of the studio. I organise events, plan the classes, teach the children.
The family feel we have created. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing children making new friends and welcoming new children.

My biggest achievement was getting my degree at University.

All I want is to be happy and healthy.

Your most embarrassing moment?
Probably on a daily basis I forget someone’s name, I even get my own children’s name wrong sometimes!
One of your top goals in life?
To be the best mum I can possibly be, so my children grow up to be happy and confident in themselves.
What is your favourite place in the world?
Anywhere my family is.
How would your friends describe you?
Probably busy… but hopefully kind!
What is your favourite quote?
I don’t have one as I always get them muddled up, which always makes my husband laugh!
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Sorrento in Italy where me and my husband had our honeymoon (and our last child free holiday!)
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I only started dancing when I was 14. I immediately fell in love with it and worked so hard to catch up to everyone in my classes and have danced more or less every day since!
My role at the studio is a dance teacher. I mainly teach Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and the fabulous adult class, but I’ve been known to cover Gymnastics once in a while!
The thing I love most about the studio is definitely the children. I love hearing their funny stories and watching them progress as little dancers.
I grew up in Portsmouth but I now live in Mansfield.
My biggest achievement is bouncing back from heart problems and surgery and returning to dance with an ICD.
While I have a fair few embarrassing moments, the first one that came to my head was when I was performing in a show and as I tried to step up onto a platform, I slipped and fell completely over it and landed on my face on the other side!
One of my top goals is to have a family.
